PARKING

 

Unfortunately, we have a no parking for our customers at Verse. Space is limited and already allocated to our lovely neighbours. Please help us to respect this. There is a pay and display car park close by in Lower Union Road, as well as on road parking (free after 6pm).

 

FINDING US

 

Our restaurant is tucked away in a converted garage within an industrial area, which can feel unexpected at first. The walk in may have you wondering if you’re in the right place- but trust us. Once inside, you’ll find a warm, refined space where the focus is entirely on great food, atmosphere and hospitality.

CONFIRMATION AND CANCELLATIONS

 

When accepting bookings online or over the telephone, we will ask for your credit or debit card details to secure the reservation.

 

No charges are made to your card to secure the booking, and your details are encrypted and stored securely in line with PCI DSS.

 

Once we have verified your credit or debit card details, we will send you an email confirmation, which also outlines our cancellation policy.

 

Need to cancel? If you need to put off your visit to us, you can cancel up to 48 hours before your booked date without charge, after which time a cancellation charge of £20.00 per head will be payable by you for all guests cancelled, including “No Shows”. We will always attempt to resell your cancelled table – if we are able to do so, we will always waive our cancellation fee.

 

DIETARIES

 

We are able to cater for most dietary requirements, please let us know when booking if you have any allergies or restrictions including if you are vegetarian or pescatarian. We regret that due to the nature of our menu, we are unable to offer vegan or dairy free dishes at Verse.

We take the utmost care when preparing our menus but please note that all 14 major allergens are present at Verse. We therefore cannot guarantee the avoidance of cross-contamination. We ask all of our guests to contact us before booking at info@versekingsbridge.com if you have any specific allergies that we need to be aware, or to discuss the ingredients we work with, so we can confirm if we can safely cater for your needs. We want all of our guest to dine safely with us.

 

 

CHILDREN

 

We welcome children over 10 years of age who would like to experience our full menu. Unfortunately, we do not offer a separate children’s menu. Our restaurant is small and intimate so we are unable to accommodate highchairs, pushchairs and baby changing facilities.

 

 

ACCESSABILITY

We welcome guests of all abilities but advise that our building offers a few practical challenges for wheelchair users and disabled visitors, including a compact dining room, which may restrict wheelchair movement and table choices and a small washroom. We can arrange for guests to be driven to the front of the restaurant, however- due to the historic nature of the building and its location on an industrial area, there is no public parking at the restaurant; the nearest parking is at Lower union Road Car Park, Lower union Road, TQ7 1SF. Regrettably, we do not have a disabled toilet on site. Please let us know if you require assistance visiting us at Verse and contact us if you require any further information and we will be happy to help make your visit as comfortable as possible.

 

DOGS

 

Due to our open plan kitchen and limited space in our intimate dining area it makes it a little tricky to accommodate dogs, so sadly we have to ask you to leave them at home.
